attention on the goodness of God to prepare them for worship.
The verse/verses (2 max) should be on one of the following.

Example of call to worship:
Read: Psalm 107:1 (NKJV)
1 Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.
Comment: As we begin our time of worship, let us come with hearts of thanksgiving,
remembering the goodness of God that moved Him to take our sins upon Himself so that
we might be forgiven.
Amen!

Let’s pray.
Lord, you are good, wonderful, and gracious to us. You looked upon us in our sin and
rebellion, and in your goodness, you intervened; you took our sin upon yourself, and this
morning, we declare your goodness and that your mercy endures forever.
As we enter this time of worship. May we come with hearts full of gratitude and minds fixed
on you.
In Jesus' name, Amen.

Worship begins.
